The Pastoral Land Commission (CPT) is a Catholic Church-linked organization that has monitored agrarian conflicts in Brazil for 40 years. The CPT's annual report documents different types of rural violence, including conflicts over land, water, slave labor and killings of rural workers and traditional peoples.
