ISA Energia Brasil obtained the second installation license for the Serra Dourada project in Bahia, allowing the start of construction of the 500 kV transmission line segment Juazeiro III–Campo Formoso II–Barra II. The license was issued by the Institute of Environment and Water Resources (INEMA) of Bahia in January 2026, clearing what the company calls "block 2" of the development.
