The main charges against those detained are attacks on public authority agents — about half the cases — as well as property damage, illegal weapon possession and forming groups to commit infractions. The celebration of the French club's second championship brought thousands of supporters to the streets, with about 20,000 people concentrated on the Champs-Élysées and another thousand contained by police around Parc des Princes.

"Selon le parquet, il s'agit "très majoritairement" d'atteintes aux personnes dépositaires de l'autorité publique, soit près de la moitié des cas, puis des atteintes aux biens, port d'arme illégal ou encore groupements en vue de commettre une infraction."

The security operation had mobilized 22,000 police officers throughout France, with 8,000 in Paris alone, following violence recorded in the previous season. During the operation, 24 flares and about 100 pyrotechnic devices were confiscated, plus 89 fines were issued. A kiosk was set on fire on the Champs-Élysées, at least six vehicles were damaged, and commercial establishments suffered vandalism.
