2 sources · 29 Apr 2026 · Share coverage ·

Two cases involving violence against minors resulted in arrests on Tuesday. In Pará, a 38-year-old man was arrested for assaulting a 9-year-old child in Santa Cruz do Arari. In Ceará, a 39-year-old man accused of killing a 17-year-old girl last Saturday was arrested.

The crimes involved domestic violence in Pará, where the suspect already had a record for violating protective measures, and femicide in Ceará, motivated by the victim's refusal to accept a relationship. Both cases resulted in arrests following investigations by local civil police.
