The National Justice Supervisory Authority took action against three state courts between Thursday and Friday. Minister Mauro Campbell cancelled the creation of extra payments in Paraná, limited payments in Goiás to the public service salary cap and ordered the submission of payroll records from Mato Grosso do Sul. The decisions follow STF alerts about compliance with rules against extra judicial payments.

The STF decided in March to limit extra payments in the Judiciary, establishing which compensatory allowances can be paid to magistrates and setting a 35% ceiling for such payments. After the decision, various institutions attempted to create new salary benefits, with 14 initiatives in courts and Public Prosecutor's Offices in at least eight states regulating or discussing the creation of extra payments.
